This Cordoba 25T-CE has a nicely figured solid acacia top, paired with laminate acacia back and sides, and is fitted with an active pickup, allowing you to use it plugged in through an amplifier.

The wood is pretty, and is highlighted by rope style ebony and maple binding, with a herringbone soundhole rosette of the same materials. There’s a cutaway too, and the bridge repeats the herringbone inlay pattern too, which is a nice touch. It’s finished with a thinly applied satin.

The pickup, with tone and volume controls, seems a good one - with its lack of built-in tuner made up for with a nice, clean amplified tone. Unplugged, and the tone is nicely balanced, with some complexity from the solid top, with a full sound that’s punctuated by some pleasing punchy trebles.

It’s a good solid option for those looking for an instrument they can plug in. The 36mm nut width and average neck profile make it feel comfortable and familiar in your hands. From the box, the action is a little high, but I’ll take care of that before it leaves.
