This is a really nice, USA made concert ukulele, made from all solid curly mahogany - which has some nice pattern in the grain. These LoPrinzi instruments are made in Clearwater, Florida, by Donna LoPrinzi, who has been making ukes by hand for over twenty years.

This custom model has been fitted with clear fluorocarbon strings, and Graphtech Tune-a-lele geared pegs. These plastic units look like friction pegs, but have gearing inside that means they’re petite and rear-facing, but still work like gears. This satin finish LoPrinzi ukulele has cream ABS binding and an abalone soundhole decoration too - plus a lovely stripe down the back of the neck.

The nut width is 36.5mm, which is paired with quite a flat neck profile, making it easy to reach around and play your chord shapes. It really is a playable thing. The sound has nice mahogany warmth, which manifests itself in a rich, shimmer, but with the trebles not washed away in the mix. It gives some decent punch if you dig in a little bit - so all in all, a nice warm sounding instrument with enough clarity cutting through to make all styles of play possible.
