These are replacement saddles for a ukulele. They are made from buffalo bone and are compensated for better intonation (this means the lengths of the strings are slightly varied by the shape of the top of the saddle, to make them slightly longer or shorter and get the intonation better - it’s all science and no, I don’t really understand it!

There are options for soprano/concert, tenor and baritone. But it’s best to consult the dimensions below to get the best fit. Some soprano ukes can have a wide slot in the bridge for the saddle, and some baritones can have quite a narrow width of slot - so while they’re sold as ‘soprano/concert, tenor and baritone’, check the measurements first.

If in doubt, go for one that’s longer than your slot rather than shorter. You can always sand the excess off the end to get it to fit. But you can’t make it bigger! In the same way, check the width of your slot. It’s better to get a thicker saddle and sand it down than have one that’s too thin and rattles around in there.

SOPRANO / CONCERT - 52mm x 2.5mm

TENOR - 56mm x 2.5mm

BARITONE - 60mm x 3mm

Note, your string action is likely to be a little high using these saddles and you’ll possibly want to sand it down. They’re a little higher than strictly neccessary so they’ll fit as many bridge types as possible.
