This is a clamp to attach a microphone to a music stand or mic stand (or, as I didn’t have either handy when I took the photo, the leg of a lamp!)

The attachment is for use with a microphone shock mount (a cradle) and the thread on the screw atttaches to your mic’s shock mount. This allows you to keep your mic close by to your ukulele if you’re recording, commonly with a USB mic.

To be honest, I didn’t mean to order these - I was in a rush and tried to get ukulele clamps. But… they’re actually pretty useful things for a recording setting, so here they are!
