This is a new ukulele but one that has had a bump at some point, either at the factory, distributor or during shipping to me. It's got a series chip on the edge, as pictured. It isn't structurally a problem, and I can't hear a sound issue. But it's obvious. I could have sent it back but I thought it works fine so why not get someone to have some use out of it.
