Look at the title of this tenor ukulele and then look at the price. Seriously? All solid wood (and not just mahogany) and such a small price. Even if it was an average ukulele it would almost be worth it at this money, but it's far from that, with its abalone inlays, walnut bindings and comfort edge and asymmetric mother of pearl fingerboard bindings.

The wood is solid German spruce on the top and solid cherry for the back and sides. The materials have been treated with a technique developed by a university to season and mature wood using heat, allowing timber native to Europe to be used more in the manufacture of instruments.

The Baton Rouge UTC-T has a slightly wider, 37mm nut width, a satin finish, and a dark eucalyptus fingerboard and bridge.

This tenor has plenty of volume, and a balanced, woody tone that seems very natural. It has some punch from the fitted Aquila strings, which aren't my favourite... but then again, if it sounds good with them on, it's not a terrible thing!

Overall you're getting a pretty, all-solid wood instrument at a price that's less than a fancy looking all laminate ukulele from one of the big and famous names. It makes a lot of sense!
