This is the electro version of the Nova U Pro tenor electro, in white satin finish. This is an upgrade over the regular Nova U models, with beautifully finished metal frets, and a higher amount of carbon fibre used in the mix with the polycarbonate for the body.

These thin body tenor ukuleles have a nice acoustic sound, with more volume that you'd expect from such a thin body, with an impressive chiming quality. With the Acoustic Plus pickup that's fitted, you get plenty of options too, including being able to amplify your uke without an amplifier. There are built in effects (reverb, delay and chorus) which you can use without plugging into an amp - with a bit of a lift over the acoustic volume alone. You can plug into an amp too - and use those effects through your amp as well.

The Nova U Pro tenor ukulele has a wider than average nut width, just short of 38mm, ideal for those with larger fingertips (but it's not a huge difference, so playable for anyone). With these instruments, it's worthwhile ordering from a specialist store - the action I find too high, but it can be reduced during the set-up process here. Enya deal directly with Amazon, and while you can get a decent one from there I'm sure, it's a bit more of the luck of the draw.

Enya's Nova U Pro is supplied with D'addario Titanium strings fitted, a lightweight pod case and a little pack including spare strings and a capo.
