The Kaka KUT-25D and Enya EUT-25D are interchangeable models, made by Enya to the same specifications. Showing my age, but there used to be a Honda Accord and an identical Rover that did this. But, moving on from late 80's car trivia then, to talk about the Kaka KUT-25D solid mahogany top tenor ukulele.

In a way that's all that needs to be said. Look at the price. Then look at the words 'solid mahogany top'. Wow, that's some value for a solid top uke! Crackers! With fluorocarbon strings fitted, the tone has quite a strong attack and brightness to go alongside the natural mahogany warmth. So, not hugely warm, but generally more balanced in sound, a bit of an all rounder really. The mahogany definitely lends some smoothness, and again harking back to the price, the sound is really impressive for the money.

The KUT-25D has a nicely shaped richlite bridge, and a fingerboard that is described as rosewood, but looks like ebony... but is definitely real wood and not richlite (not that I'd mind if it was). It has durable closed geared tuners and an excellent gig bag.

All in all the Kaka KUT-25D is a great choice for a serious beginner, with its solid top an impressive feature for an affordable price.
